ABOUT THIS WORK /// For this video, I was thinking about a few things.  First, is how often artists have to package themselves for marketing purposes (describe why they make the work they do and what their work is about)... it's a continuous process of tieing your art practice up into a neat bow.  Additionally, I was also thinking about how the form of the bowtie has become an emblem of my own artistic practice and identity....this is why I designed this video so that as the video progresses the form of a bow recedes further into the video, becoming the framed window through which we see the video.
